The McCollough Elementary staff provided ice cream sundaes to students who completed their summer learning.

During our initial feeder meeting, principals from the Fordson Feeder shared their understanding of the 4 questions:

1. What do we want students to know and be able to do? 
2. How do we know if students have learned?
3. How do we respond when they don’t learn? 
4. How do we respond when students have learned?

Students at EFHS work on woodworking and autoshop on practical skills.

Hats off to Math Leaders.  Elementary math Leaders collaborate to plan professional learning for their colleagues around math standards and concepts as part of the new math program.  Much learning and deep mathematical thinking.  Math Leaders are led by math resource teacher Rita Stergalas.  Most elementary schools have a k-2 and 3-5 math leader to support learning with their peers. Math Leaders will lead the PD on 9/14 at their schools.

Administrators revisit the 4 PLC Questions

Two second grade students from Miller Elementary led the Pledge of Allegiance at the Board Meeting on 9/10/18.  Principal Awada supported his students proudly.
